Our office is at 21/525A Chittira, which is very close to the Music College in Tripunithura. You can often hear the students practicing their instruments while we are sitting at our desks. It makes the day go by a bit faster. We deal with ingredients, so there is always a lot of talk about flavors and textures in our small room. The building is an older style, typical for this part of Kerala, and it stays relatively cool even when the sun is beating down outside. We have a few people working here who have been in the food industry for years. We aren't interested in making things look flashy. Most of our work is just phone calls and checking quality on the samples that come in. Tripunithura is a busy place, and getting through the traffic near the college can be a headache, but we like being in this neighborhood. There is a small tea shop just around the corner where we usually go to discuss our plans for the week. We don't have a big corporate culture here. It feels more like a small group of friends trying to build something that lasts. Some days we have too much work and other days we are just waiting for the phone to ring. We take it as it comes. It's just a regular business doing regular work at N 2 N Ingredients. We like it that way.
