Loyola College

Loyola College is situated right in Tripunithura. Being here in Kerala, the surroundings are quite green, especially after it rains. The campus isn't some massive city structure; it feels more integrated with the local town. We spend a lot of time walking between the different rooms and the common areas. It’s usually humid, so everyone carries water bottles around. There are a lot of trees on the grounds which provide some shade during the afternoon hours. You can often hear the sound of students talking or the occasional bell ringing. It’s a fairly busy place from morning until evening. We’ve got the usual classrooms and office spaces you’d expect. Nothing is overly modern or flashy, just functional rooms with wooden desks and benches that have been there for years. The faculty and the staff are mostly local people from around Tripunithura or nearby parts of Kerala. We all know each other’s names for the most part. Sometimes there are events in the main hall, and things get a bit loud and crowded. Mostly, though, it’s just the routine of classes and paperwork. The tea shop across the street gets a lot of business from us. It’s just a regular college environment where people come to learn and work without much fuss. We like the quiet pace of Tripunithura compared to the bigger cities. It feels like a community here, with people just going about their daily business of education and admin work. It's a solid place to be.
