Vel Tech Solar Systems

We operate out of No. 69/10E Bucklepuram Second Street. It’s a small place for Vel Tech Solar Systems, and we mostly use it as a base to store our equipment and the solar panels before they go out to a job site. Bucklepuram is a tight neighborhood, and our street is quite narrow, which makes loading the truck a bit of a challenge every morning. We are usually out on roofs for most of the day, so the office is often empty except for maybe one person handling the phone. When we are here, we are usually checking batteries or testing connections on the panels. The sun in this part of town is no joke, and we definitely feel it when we are working outdoors. We keep our ladders and tools leaning against the wall in the back. There isn't much in the way of furniture, just a couple of desks and some heavy-duty shelving. We drink a lot of water throughout the day because of the heat. People in the neighborhood know us because they see our truck parked outside on Second Street every evening. It’s a lot of climbing and wiring, and we often come back with dirty clothes and sunburnt necks. We’ve had to learn a lot about how these systems work over the years by just doing the repairs ourselves. It’s practical work and we just take it one day at a time, hoping the weather stays clear.
