Sm Ram Coal Importers is located in Ebenezer Mansion at No. 97/ H/ 26/ 5. We are on the 1st Floor right by the Teachers Colony Junction on Palayamkottai Road. It’s a very busy intersection, so there is always the sound of horns and traffic outside our windows. Working in the coal import business means things can get a little bit dusty sometimes, even in the office. We have a lot of ledgers and heavy files because dealing with coal involves a lot of regulations and transport details. The office in Ebenezer Mansion isn't brand new, but it's sturdy and gives us the space we need. We spend hours talking to suppliers and checking on the arrival of shipments at the port. It’s a lot of logistics to keep track of, and we have to make sure the trucks are ready when the coal arrives. Our team is small, so we don't have a lot of formal rules; we just work together to get the tasks finished. The junction outside is a good place for catching a bus, but it makes the commute a bit slow during peak hours. We usually have a lot of people coming in to talk about orders or deliveries, so the office stays quite active. It’s a straightforward business, and we just focus on moving the coal where it needs to go without making things more complicated than they are. It’s just how we do it.
