Selvam Essence Mart

We are set up at number 46 on the Kovilpatti Main Road in Iluppaiyurani. It’s a busy road with lots of vehicles passing by at all hours. We deal in essences and similar items here. The shop always smells like a mix of different things, which is actually quite nice compared to the exhaust fumes outside. It’s a small storefront, and we’ve been here for quite a while now. Most of our customers are from the nearby villages or people driving through. We don’t have any fancy displays or neon lights. It’s just a counter, some shelves, and us. We keep the inventory in the back room, which is a bit cramped but we manage. Sometimes we have to hunt around for a specific bottle, but we always find it in the end. The main road can be loud, so we have to talk a bit louder when customers are in. We’re not a big company with a board of directors or anything. It's just a regular mart doing regular business. We try to keep the floor clean, but with the dust from the road, it’s a constant battle. We open up in the morning and stay until the sun goes down. There isn't much more to it than that. We just focus on the day-to-day tasks and make sure we have what people are looking for when they stop their cars.
