Nadar Primary School

We've been here at 4/25 Vinayagar Kovil Street for a while now. It's a busy little spot in Vasudevanallur. Most of the kids live nearby. We focus on the basic things they need to learn before moving on to bigger schools. It's mostly reading, writing, and some math. The building isn't huge, but we make it work. Most days it’s pretty loud with children running around the hallway. We have a small staff of teachers who live in the neighborhood. They know the families well. Sometimes parents drop by just to talk about how their kids are doing. It's a very local thing. We don't have fancy equipment or a huge playground, but there's enough space for the kids to play during the breaks. Usually, things are pretty routine. We start early in the morning and wrap up by the afternoon. The street outside can get a bit crowded when everyone is leaving. We try to keep things organized but you know how it is with young children. They have a lot of energy. We just try to get them through their lessons and make sure they're safe while they're with us. It's a simple setup. Nothing too complicated. We’ve seen many groups of kids pass through these doors over the years. Some of them are grown up now and still say hello when they walk past the school on Vinayagar Kovil Street. It’s just how things go here in Vasudevanallur.
