If you are looking for us, we are right in the Vadakkekera Building on the Main Road in Karimannoor. Idukki is a beautiful place, but being on the main road means we see a lot of the local traffic and people passing through on their way elsewhere. Our office is small and tucked into the building, decorated with some old maps and a few calendars that are probably out of date. We spend our days talking to people about where they want to go and how they are going to get there. It is mostly just us answering the phone and writing things down in ledgers. Sometimes the power goes out in this part of town, and we just sit and wait for it to come back on while chatting with anyone who happens to be around. We are not a big chain or a flashy agency. It is just a local business run by people who live right here in the area. We know the roads around Karimannoor pretty well, and we know which buses run on time and which ones do not. It is a bit of a slow pace sometimes, especially during the monsoon when nobody wants to travel much. We use that time to catch up on filing or just cleaning the windows. People come in mostly because they know us or they saw the sign while waiting for a bus outside. It is a very grounded way to work, and we like the community feel of the building.
