Down in the Main Market of Vengalore, that’s where Guardian Controls Ltd. is based. It’s a local spot in the Idukki district, and we’ve been part of this municipal area for a good while. Being in the market means there’s always people walking past and the sound of the town around us. Our building is simple, nothing like those modern glass towers you see in the cities. We work on control systems and industrial parts. It’s a lot of technical manuals and small components that need to be tracked. The air in Idukki is nice, even when the market is busy. We have a small staff of locals who know the area well. We don't have a big corporate hierarchy. If something needs to be fixed or an order needs to be sent out, we just roll up our sleeves and do it. There’s a small back room where we keep the spare parts, and it's organized in a way that only we really understand. We usually have the radio on in the background while we work. It’s a steady pace of life. We aren't looking to expand into some giant firm; we like it just the way it is here in Vengalore. People know where to find us if they need help with their controls. We just keep our heads down and do the work. The rain gets pretty heavy here sometimes, but we just keep the doors closed and carry on.
