We operate out of a small space in Vikash Nagar, Aillam, specifically at Ankit Kumar’s place. It is not a big corporate building at all. It feels more like a home office because that is basically what it is. We handle the Nidhi business from here, which involves a lot of paperwork regarding small savings from the people in our area. The room we use has a couple of tables and a lot of binders filled with member details. Since we are in 247771, it is a quiet neighborhood most of the time. You might hear some kids playing outside or a neighbor's dog barking while we are working on the accounts. We spend hours every day making sure the deposits are tracked and the interest is calculated properly. It is a very manual process most of the time. We don't have a flashy entrance, just a door where people we know come to talk about their money. Usually, we have some tea ready if a member stops by to stay for a bit. It is a humble way to run things, but it works for us and the people who trust us with their savings. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything like that. We just rely on the fact that we have been here and people know who we are. It is just us and our ledgers in a quiet corner of Vikash Nagar.
