Apex Garments

Tirupur is a busy town, and our little place, Apex Garments, is right in the middle of it. We are located at No. 6/6 on Gopal Nagar Ist Street. It’s just off Mangalam Road, which stays packed with vehicles all day long. The building isn't anything special to look at, but it works for what we need. Inside, there’s usually the sound of machines going and people talking over the noise. It gets quite warm in the afternoons, so we keep the fans running at full speed most of the time. Gopal Nagar Ist Street is a narrow one, so parking can be a real headache if you aren't careful. We’ve been at this spot for a while now and we know most of the people who work in the nearby units. Usually, we start the day by sweeping out the front and checking the orders that came in. There is always a lot of fabric lying around in different colors, which makes the place look a bit messy but that is just how it is. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a shiny office. It is just a practical space for garment work. The tea man comes by twice a day, and that's usually the highlight for everyone working here. We just focus on getting the sewing done and making sure the boxes are packed up right before the transport trucks arrive on Mangalam Road.
