THIRUVIZHIMIZHALAI NIDHI LIMITED

Our place is at number 33 on West Street in Sarabojirajapuram. It is a small spot in the Maruvathur area, part of Kodavasal in the Thiruvarur district. We handle money matters here for the local people. It is not a big, fancy office like you see in the cities. It is just a simple room where we do our daily work. Most of the people who come in are our neighbors. They have known us for years. We deal with the usual things like small savings and some loans. Sometimes it gets quite busy, especially when it is market day in the village. Most of the time, it is just regular faces coming in to check their accounts. We try to keep our records as straight as possible, even if the paperwork piles up sometimes. It is hard work running a Nidhi company in a rural place, but someone has to do it. The office is easy to find if you are walking down the main part of the street. We do not have any expensive furniture or air conditioning. We just have some desks, chairs, and a couple of old fans to keep us cool. People come here to talk about their savings or maybe a gold loan when they need some help. We know almost every family around here. It is a quiet life in this part of Tamil Nadu, and we just keep things moving along.
