Sri Angalaparameshwari Lathe Works

We operate Sri Angalaparameshwari Lathe Works from our shop at 436/4A in Sri Dechinakali Nagar. This is in the Senthamangalam area. It’s a straightforward lathe shop. If you come by, you’ll hear the sound of metal being turned almost as soon as you turn the corner into the nagar. We have a couple of lathes and the usual bits of equipment scattered around. It’s not the most organized place in the world, but we know where everything is. The floor is usually covered in metal shavings by the afternoon, and we sweep them up at the end of the day. Working in Senthamangalam is okay; it’s a decent area with a lot of people doing similar manual work. We don't have a website or any of those things. Most of the people who come here are locals or folks who have been told about us by someone they know. We just sit at the machines, focus on the measurements, and try to get the pieces right. The lighting inside isn't the best, so we use some extra lamps over the work areas. It gets hot in the summer, especially with the motors running all day. We just take breaks when we need to and keep a jug of water nearby. It’s basic work, but it’s what we do. 436/4A is where you’ll find us most days of the week, just keeping the lathes spinning.
