Santosh Lace House

If you come down to No. 164 Laxmi Nagar Main Road, you will find us pretty easily. We have been running this lace shop for a while and the shelves are packed from the floor to the ceiling. It is a narrow space, so we have to be careful when we are moving the big boxes around. We have all kinds of lace and borders, and sometimes it takes a bit of digging to find the exact one someone is looking for. The main road is always noisy with traffic, and we get a lot of dust coming in through the front. We have a small counter where we do all the measuring and cutting. It is a simple setup with a few old stools for anyone who needs to sit down for a minute. Most of our day is spent unrolling spools and showing different patterns to people who stop by. We don't use a computer for much, just a notebook and a pen to write down what we sold. It feels like a very local way of doing things, but it has worked for us for years. The light inside isn't the brightest, but we know where everything is even in the dark. It can get a bit overwhelming when three people are asking for different things at once, but we just take them one by one. It is just a small lace house in a busy part of town.
