Shafeeya Plastics

Shafeeya Plastics is located at 75/95 on Mariamman Kovil 11th Street. It’s one of those streets where everyone kind of knows each other. The shop isn't hard to find if you’re looking for the temple nearby. We spend our days dealing with various plastic items and keeping the inventory straight. It gets a bit cramped sometimes because we try to keep a lot of stuff on hand, but we manage just fine. The street can be quite narrow, so deliveries are always a bit of a puzzle to solve. We’ve got a small team here, and we just go about our business without making much of a fuss. The humidity here can be a bit much in the afternoons, so we usually keep the fans running full blast. We don't have a big corporate philosophy or anything like that. We just open up in the morning, do what needs to be done, and close up when the day is over. It’s a local business through and through. Sometimes neighbors stop in just to say hello, which is nice. We focus on the practical side of things, making sure people get what they came for. It’s a simple way to run a business, but it has worked for us for a long time now. We like the rhythm of 11th Street and the people who live around here. We just take things one day at a time and keep at it. There is always a lot to do, but we enjoy the work.
