Meenakshi Exports

Our place, Meenakshi Exports, is located at No. 4- 5 A on Kanagarayar Street. It’s a busy little area and we’ve been operating out of here for a while now. The building is older, so it has its quirks, like the way the windows rattle when a heavy truck goes by outside. Inside, it’s mostly just rows of tables and boxes waiting to be sent out. We handle a lot of different things, so there is always a bit of chaos during shipping days. We don't have a big reception desk or anyone to greet you at the door. Usually, everyone is busy in the back or on the phone trying to coordinate things. It’s a lot of manual work, moving stuff around and making sure the labels are right. Kanagarayar Street is one of those places where everyone knows each other’s business, which is nice in a way. We have our coffee together in the mornings before the real work starts. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s steady. We keep the doors open to let the breeze in when it’s hot, even if it brings in a bit of dust from the street. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a fancy office. We just want to get the orders filled and out to wherever they are going. That is what keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday.
