Zion Constructions

Zion Constructions is based out of our place called Triveni in Kallambalam. We are down here in Thiruvananthapuram, and if you have been to Kerala, you know the weather keeps us on our toes. Construction is hard work. It involves a lot of mud, rain, and dealing with laborers and materials. We have been at this for a bit now. Our office is not anything special to look at, just a place where we keep the plans and meet with folks who want to build something. Kallambalam is a quiet spot compared to the main city, which we like. It gives us space to breathe. We handle the local projects, mostly small houses or renovations for people we know. It is a lot of checking on sites and making sure the cement arrives on time. Sometimes things go slow because of the monsoon, but we manage. My brothers and a few guys from the village help out. We do not have a big marketing team or anything like that. Word of mouth is how we get most of our work. People see a house we did and they come find us at Triveni. It is a basic way to run a business but it works for us. We just focus on getting the walls up straight and the roof on tight. That is enough for a day’s work and it keeps the bills paid for everyone here.
