Hassan Exports & Imports

You can find us at Nadasha Manzil in the Odayam area of Varkala. Hassan Exports & Imports is mostly run from this location, which is close to the coast. It’s a nice area, though it can get very humid. We handle all kinds of items coming in and going out of the country. Being in Varkala, we see a lot of tourists around, but our business is more about the practical side of trade. The house, Nadasha Manzil, serves as our base. It’s where we do all the scheduling and keep track of our shipments. Sometimes the internet is a bit slow, but we make do. We are not a giant company; it’s more of a personal operation. We know our clients and they know us. Most of our days involve checking on shipping containers or talking to transport guys. It’s not always easy work, especially when there are delays at the port, but we’ve learned to be patient over the years. We’ve been here long enough that we don’t need much of a sign outside. People know where the Hassan place is. We just keep doing what we do, day in and day out. It’s a steady life and we like being part of the Varkala community. It might not be fancy, but it is our way of living.
