Our distribution center is over at Metoda GIDC Gate No. 3. The address is T.C. 7/565- 1 on Neerazhi Lane. It's near the Ulloor Medical College area. We handle a lot of different products coming in and going out. The warehouse is the main part of the building. It’s got high ceilings and lots of racks. We use a small office space for the billing and the tracking. Being in the GIDC means we are surrounded by other industrial units. It’s not exactly a scenic spot. There's a lot of noise from trucks and machinery nearby. Neerazhi Lane is where the deliveries usually pull in. We spend the day loading boxes and checking lists. It can get pretty hot in the summer inside the warehouse. We have some fans going, but it only helps a little. We are Recentia Distributors. We've been at this location for a while. We know the security guards at the gate and the other workers around. It's a simple operation. We receive the stock and then we send it out again. There isn't much more to it than that. We just try to keep the inventory straight so we don't lose anything. It’s hard work sometimes. We get a lot of paperwork with every truck that arrives. Someone always has to be there to sign for the deliveries. It’s a long day from start to finish. We usually lock up around seven in the evening if everything is done.
