TRAVANCORE URBAN VIKAS NIDHI LIMITED

We are over at TC 53/1916 (7) in the Balananth Building. It's located in Pappanamcode PO. Travancore Urban Vikas Nidhi Limited has been here for a bit, tucked into this specific spot. The building is easy enough to spot once you get into the Pappanamcode area. It’s a busy part of town, so there is always something going on outside our windows. Inside, it’s a bit more relaxed. We have our desks set up and we spend our hours going through the daily transactions. It’s a regular Nidhi company, so there’s a lot of manual work and counting that goes on. We aren't trying to be anything we’re not. It’s just a place where people come to handle their money matters without a lot of fuss. The office has that old-school feel to it, with papers everywhere and a clock that ticks a bit too loud. We like it that way. It feels real. Sometimes we grab tea from the shop nearby and talk about the day’s work. There are no fancy uniforms or scripted greetings here. We just talk to people like they are our neighbors, because usually, they are. Living and working in Pappanamcode means you get to know the rhythm of the city. We’re just glad to have a steady place in the Balananth Building to do our work and help out where we can. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s our life.
