The Aryavaidya Pharmacy Coimbatore Limited

This is a commendation of Dr. Job Thomas the Senior Medical Officer of the Arya Vaidya Pharmacy(Coimbatore)Ltd in Thiruvananthapuram. More than that this is a realistic account of his invaluable contributions to the science of Ayurveda in general and its promotion as a way to life to cross section of the society in particular. Dr. Job Thomas joined The Arya Vaidya Pharmacy(Coimbatore) as a Physician in 1985. After an extensive internship under the stalwarts in this great science Arya Vaidyan (late) Dr. K.S. Variar he was posted to the Thiruvananthapuram branch of the Pharmacy in 1988. He was elevated to the position of the Senior Medical Officer considering his professional skills in diagnosis and treatment. Dr. Job Thomas has been in the fore –front of promoting a life style based on Ayurveda which he has taken as a mission of life. Dr. Job is a regular invitee in all the knowledge forms on Ayurveda-be it seminars symposia discussions live TV shows radio talks or lecture sessions. He has also been contributing to the cause of Ayureda through the columns of the eminent news papers and magazines in Kerala. Besides these Dr. Job Thomas has also been drafted as a physician for major Institutions in the State like the Department of Space Govt. of India (ISRO/VSSC). He also possesses trans-national experience by virtue of being conducted seminars in Europe. A Physician par excellence a doctor who inspires confidence in his patients and a person who has dedicated himself to selfless service I find in Dr. Job Thomas what the scriptures identify as the qualities of a good practitioner of Ayurveda. Dr. Job Thomas works on the plains of self actualization when he serves his patients. I propose him as a person who is highly worthy of being recognized as the best in his field today.
