Thatwamasy Tourism

Thatwamasy Tourism is based out of Pothencode in Thiruvananthapuram. We’ve been working from this area for quite some time now and we like the pace of things here. Our office isn’t much to look at, just a regular room with a few desks and some posters of places in Kerala. We aren't a big agency with hundreds of employees. It’s just a small team of us who know the travel business well enough to help out our neighbors. Every morning starts with opening up the shutters and letting the air in. We spend a lot of time talking to people who walk in with just a vague idea of where they want to go. We try to give them practical advice about travel times and costs. The roads around here can be tricky, especially when the rains are heavy, so we always keep that in mind. We don’t have any fancy brochures or polished sales pitches. We just sit down and figure out what works best for the person sitting across from us. Sometimes we’re busy from morning till night, and other times we just drink tea and wait for the phone to ring. It’s a modest way of doing things, but it works for us and for the people in Pothencode. We’ve lived here our whole lives, so we’re just another part of the local community.
