Telecom Systems

Our shop is at number 17 on Central Theater Road. It’s in the Pazhavangadi area of Thiruvananthapuram. Being right near the theater means there’s always people moving around outside, especially in the evenings. We’ve been here for years, dealing with all sorts of telecom equipment and parts. The shop is a bit small but we’ve managed to fit everything we need into the space we have. The shelves are pretty full and sometimes things get a bit disorganized. Sometimes it takes a minute or two to find exactly what we’re looking for in the back. It’s a bit of a traditional setup. We don't use a lot of high-tech systems to run the place, just old-fashioned notebooks and a bit of memory. Most of our customers are locals who have been coming to us for a long time. They know where we are and how we work. The road can get pretty congested during movie times or festival days. We just work through the noise and the crowds. It’s a family-style environment here, even if we aren't all related by blood. We drink a lot of tea and talk about the local news while we work on things. There’s no big corporate vibe here at all, just regular people working. We just try to be helpful when someone walks in with a problem they need fixed. It’s a simple life running a shop on this street. We just take it one day at a time and see who comes in.
