Supercold Refrigeration Systems (P) Ltd.

Our company, Supercold Refrigeration Systems, is based in the Industrial Estate in Manvila. It is right near the Kulathur post office. It is a good spot for manufacturing because we have enough room for the big machinery we use. We have been set up in this location for quite a few years now. The building itself is a very simple concrete structure with a heavy metal roof. Inside, it is mostly one big open space where we put together the refrigeration systems. It gets very humid here during the monsoon season, which makes the metal feel damp, but we just keep working through it. We have a small group of technicians who really know their way around a cooling circuit. We don't bother with fancy presentations or brochures for our work. If a customer wants to see what we do, we just take them out to the floor and show them what we are building that day. It is much more honest that way. We have some old wooden desks in a small corner for the phone and the manual ledger. We still write down all our orders by hand because the old computer we have is too slow to use. The staff usually brings lunch from home and we all eat together under the big mango tree outside when it isn't raining. We are not a giant company, but we stay very busy.
