Sree Vidhyadhiraja Guruvanam Foundation

We have our little office at TC 94/3608 in Thiruvananthapuram. It is actually inside Thekke Veedu, which is a house in the C S Nagar area. Most people around here just call it KRAA-52. Being so close to the Medical College P O in Kannammoola, it gets quite busy with people passing by all day long. We aren’t a big organization with fancy desks or anything. It is just a few of us trying to keep things going day by day. We handle a lot of paperwork and talk to the folks who live nearby. Sometimes the office gets a bit messy with files everywhere, but we know where everything is. We started this foundation to do some good in the community under the Guruvanam name. It is simple work, really. We don't have any big corporate goals. We just like to help out where we can and make sure we are doing right by our neighbors. On rainy days, the porch gets a bit wet, but we still keep the door open. People stop by for a chat or to ask for help with small things. We’ve been part of this neighborhood for a long time and we don't plan on going anywhere else. It’s just how we live and work here in this part of town. No fuss, just us being here, trying to be a bit of a help to whoever comes by.
