Spell Auto Paints

Nedumangad is a busy town, and our shop is right on Pwd Road Street at number 45. Spell Auto Paints is what we called it, mostly because we liked the sound of it. We deal with all kinds of automotive finishes. The street outside is always noisy with motorcycles and buses going past. It’s a narrow road, so getting deliveries in can be a bit of a headache. Inside, the shop is lined with shelves from floor to ceiling. I try to keep it organized, but when we get busy, things tend to pile up on the counter. We have a lot of regulars who come in from around the district. They know we’ve been here a while and that we don't charge more than we should. It’s just me and a couple of guys working most days. We mix the paints by hand or with the old machine in the back. The lighting isn't great, but we know where everything is. We don't do any big marketing. We just open the doors in the morning and see who comes in. Sometimes it’s a quiet day, other times we don't even have time to eat lunch. It’s a decent living. We just focus on the paint and the customers who have been coming to Pwd Road for years. It’s not much, but it’s our daily routine and we like the people here.
