Southern Laboratories

Southern Laboratories is situated at 11-13 W & C Hospital Road. If you are looking for us we are right opposite the Amritha Hotel. It is a very busy street because of the hospital nearby so there are always people walking back and forth. Our lab is a place of routine. We spend most of our hours looking at samples and writing down results in our logbooks. It's quiet inside compared to the noise of the traffic outside. We have been here for a good amount of time and most of the locals know where we are. We don't do much advertising because the location does the work for us. The building is functional and we try to keep everything as clean as possible for the work we do. There are three of us usually working the shifts. Sometimes the equipment needs a bit of tinkering to stay accurate but we manage it. We aren't a giant corporate chain. We are just a local laboratory providing a service to the people who come in from the hospital or the hotel across the street. The coffee from Amritha Hotel is what keeps us going on the long days. It is a straightforward operation here. No big speeches or fancy slogans. We just show up and do the testing that needs to be done. It's simple work but it keeps us on our toes every day. We usually close up around seven in the evening when the street noise finally starts to settle down.
