Somson Dental Clinic

We are over here at the post graduate student department of prosthodontics within the PMS dental college. It is a busy place where many of us are still finishing up our higher studies in making dentures and fixing teeth. The clinic is basically part of the learning area, so you see a lot of students in white coats walking around with trays and dental molds. Most days, we are just working on patients who need new teeth or bridges. It gets quite crowded in the hallways because of all the equipment and people coming in from the main college building. We spend most of our time in the lab or right there at the chairs. The lighting is bright and there is always that smell of dental plaster in the air. People find us by coming through the main gates and asking for the prosthodontics section. It is not a fancy private office with leather chairs. It is a teaching space. We have our desks cluttered with textbooks and notes next to the dental tools. Sometimes the wait is a bit long because we have to check everything with the professors. It is just how things go here in the department. We see a lot of elderly folks from around the area who need help with their smiles. It is a lot of hard work but we just keep at it day after day because people need their teeth fixed.
