Skyline Builders, Trivandrum

We’ve been working out of our office in Maruthankuzhi for a good while now. It’s located over in the Kanjiramapara area, right here in Trivandrum. Most people around here know where Mra-A45 is if they’ve lived in the neighborhood long enough. Skyline Builders started because there was plenty of work to do with people needing houses and repairs. Our setup isn't fancy. Most of the time we're on-site anyway, looking at blueprints or checking how the walls are going up. Trivandrum is a busy place these days, and keeping up with the changes is a task. Sometimes the rain slows things down, which is just how it goes in Kerala. A small team works here. Some guys have been with us for years. We handle the usual building stuff, mostly residential. You can find us at the office in the mornings usually before we head out to the sites. If the door is locked, it just means we are out checking on a slab or meeting a supplier for cement. We don't have a big reception desk or anything. It's just a place to keep the files and meet folks to talk about their plots. Dealing with local permits and the heat is part of the daily grind. Getting the job done so families can move in is the main thing. It’s hard work, but seeing a finished house makes it worth it in the end.
