Sinilal & Co is based in S2 Crs Court on Ambujanvilasm Road. We are very close to the Pulimode Statue, which is one of those iconic spots in Thiruvananthapuram that everyone knows. Being near Statue means we are right in the thick of things. The office is a functional space where we handle all our accounting and paper work. It isn't a large place, but it has everything we need to get through the day. We have a small waiting area, though people usually don't have to wait long. The walls are lined with reference books and old records. It can get pretty noisy outside with the buses and the protests that sometimes happen near the Secretariat, but we’ve grown used to it over the years. We usually start the morning by checking the mail and planning out the day’s filings. There is a sense of history in this part of town, and our office feels like it fits right in. We don't use much fancy technology other than what’s necessary for the work. It’s a very human-scale operation. We know the shopkeepers nearby and often stop for a chat on our way in. The office might be a bit cluttered, but that’s just a sign that there is plenty of work being done. We prefer this kind of environment over a sterile modern building. It feels real and grounded. We just keep doing our thing, day in and day out, right here near the Statue.
