Shanu Electric World

Down in Pazhavangadi, at Prasanthi Nagar, you can find Shanu Electric World. It’s a small shop packed with wires, bulbs, switches, and all sorts of electrical bits and pieces. We’ve been here in this part of town for a while, and the shelves are pretty much overflowing at this point. It’s a bit of a maze inside, but if you ask, we can usually find what you’re looking for eventually. We spend our days helping people figure out why their lights aren’t working or what kind of fuse they need. It’s not a high-tech place, just a local store where we know many of the customers by their first names. Pazhavangadi is a busy area, so there’s always someone popping in for a spare part. We try to keep things moving, but sometimes we get stuck chatting with a neighbor about the weather or the local news. The shop gets a bit hot in the afternoons, but we just keep the fan going and carry on. We don’t have a big website or a marketing team; we just open the doors and see who needs help with their wiring. It’s a modest way to make a living, and it keeps us connected to everyone in Prasanthi Nagar. We just take things one day at a time and try to make sure we don't run out of the most common items. People know our door is open from morning until late evening most days of the week.
