Sethu Travels

Sethu Travels is based right here in Thiruvananthapuram, specifically in the 695005 area. It’s a quiet enough spot compared to the city center, but we stay busy enough. We’ve been operating for a good stretch of time now. The office is pretty basic, just the essentials really. We wake up, get the coffee going, and start looking at the schedules for the day. Living and working in this part of Kerala means you get used to the rain and the green trees everywhere. It’s a nice place to be. We don't have a big team or a slick website that does everything for you. It’s mostly us answering the phone and writing things down in ledgers or on the computer. Sometimes the internet acts up, but we manage. Most of our regulars are people from the local community who have been coming to us for years. They know our names and we know theirs. It’s more about the relationship than anything else. We don't put out big flyers or try to convince anyone of anything. We just show up, do the work, and help people get to where they need to go. The days can be long, especially when there's a lot of travel happening around the holidays, but we like the pace. It’s honest work and it keeps us connected to the city. We appreciate the people who stop by just to say hello or ask a simple question. It makes the day go by faster and keeps us on our toes.
