Saju & Padmanabhan

You can find Saju & Padmanabhan over in Thycaud, specifically on Pound Road. We are on the ground floor of a building called Sheriff, which is TC 24/241(1). It is quite easy to spot if you are familiar with the Police Ground area. Being on the ground floor is a blessing because nobody has to climb stairs when it’s humid outside. The atmosphere around here is usually quite active, especially when there is something happening at the ground. Our office space is pretty simple. We have a few rooms filled with cabinets because the paperwork just seems to grow every year. We have been working together here for a while, and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but the work comes first. Most of our day is spent handling local accounts and answering the phone. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who know where everything is kept. If you come by, you might hear the radio playing softly in the background. It is a quiet enough spot once you get inside. We like being in Thycaud because it feels connected to the rest of Thiruvananthapuram without being right in the middle of the main market chaos. We just keep our heads down and deal with the ledgers. It’s not a glamorous job, but we take it seriously in our own quiet way. We usually wrap things up by six unless it’s tax season.
