Saint Gobain - Gypsum

Our place is called Rajula and it’s located in the Manacaud area of Trivandrum. Specifically, we’re at T.C 43/55 in Thottam. We focus on gypsum stuff for the most part. It’s a quiet enough residential area, and we’ve been here for a good while. The office isn't much to look at if you’re expecting something modern. It’s just where we keep the ledgers and take the daily orders. Most of the real work happens out at the building sites where people are actually using the gypsum. We have a small crew and we’ve all worked together for quite a few years. We don't spend money on advertising or a fancy website to show off. People usually find us because their friend or a family member told them we do a decent enough job with the gypsum boards. We spend a lot of our time on the phone with suppliers in other parts of Kerala trying to get things on time. Sometimes the heat in Trivandrum is too much to handle, so we take a quick break for some cold water or some tea in the afternoons when it’s hottest. We try to keep the space clean, but with all the white powder and materials, it’s a bit of a losing battle most days. We don't really mind the mess. It’s just a sign that we’re actually working. We aren't trying to be huge.
