Rajakumari Supermarket

We are located on Paravur Road in Kallambalam. Rajakumari Supermarket is a place where we spend a lot of our time making sure the shelves are stocked. It’s a busy environment. People are always coming in for their daily groceries or just to see what’s new. We have a lot of stuff packed into the aisles, so it can feel a bit crowded on Saturday nights. Our staff is mostly made up of people from right here in the local area. We know many of the customers by name, and we hear about their kids and their jobs. It’s more than just a shop; it’s where the neighborhood meets up. We spend a lot of our morning unloading crates from the delivery trucks. Sometimes the vegetables come in a bit late, and we have to hurry to get them out before the morning rush. The floor needs a lot of mopping because of the foot traffic, especially when it rains outside. We don't use any high-tech systems for everything. Sometimes we just use a pen and paper to note down what we are running low on. It’s a lot of physical work, standing on our feet all day, but we are used to it. We try to keep the prices fair because we live here too. We just want to keep the pantry full for everyone in Kallambalam. It’s a simple goal and it keeps us occupied from morning until we lock up.
