R Decorations & Sons

R Decorations & Sons is a family thing, located right near the Dc Office in Mettukkada. My father started this years ago, and now we all just pitch in every day. We handle all sorts of stuff for events, mostly weddings or local gatherings in the area. Our shop is full of fabric rolls, lights, and those big decorative poles that take up a lot of space. It’s often a bit messy because something is always being packed or unpacked for the next job. We spend a lot of time out at various venues setting things up. Mettukkada is a busy area, so getting the truck loaded without blocking traffic can be a real headache sometimes. We don't really do those fancy digital designs; we just show people what we have in stock and they pick. If you need some drapes or a stage set up, we go and do it. It’s hard work, especially late at night when the party is finally over and we have to take everything down and haul it back. My sons help out with all the heavy lifting now. We’ve been near the Dc Office for a long time, so most people around here know where to find us. We don't use much technology, just a thick notebook for bookings. Sometimes we run out of a certain color of cloth and have to scramble to find more. It’s just the way a small family business operates. We try to be fair and just get the job done so the event looks decent enough for the families.
