Vikas Traders

We are located over in the Pothencode area, specifically at the Thiruvonam spot near the post office. Vikas Traders is basically just a local business where we deal with whatever the neighborhood needs. It is a small shop and we like it that way. We spend a lot of our mornings unloading the supplies that come in and the rest of the day helping out anyone who stops by the door. It is the kind of place where we know most of the people who walk in by their first names. We don't have a corporate office or fancy logos, just a simple desk and some wooden shelves filled with our inventory. The road outside can get pretty congested during the middle of the day, especially when the mail trucks are moving through the post office area. We have been here for a long time now, and we have seen the town change quite a bit as more houses get built. My family started this business and I just took it over because it felt like the right thing to do. There is nothing complicated about how we do things. You ask for something and we check the back room to see if it is there. It is just about being a part of the daily life here in Pothencode. Sometimes the monsoon rain is so loud on the roof we can't even hear the phone ringing inside.
