Nuevo Mariscos Private Limited is based out of Sujalayamnirapathu in the Mathra PO area. It is a bit out of the way, but we like it that way. We focus on seafood, as the name suggests. Most of our time is spent dealing with the logistics of keeping things fresh. It is not an easy job because the timing has to be just right. We have a small crew here. Everyone knows what they need to do. We don't have many meetings or long discussions about strategy. We just look at what needs to be moved and we move it. The building itself is simple and sturdy. It has to be, given the kind of work we do. Sometimes the smell of the sea is quite strong around the facility. We’ve been operating in Mathra for some time now. People in the village know us as the seafood folks. We aren't looking to expand into some giant conglomerate. We are just a private limited company trying to do a decent job every day. The floors are usually wet from cleaning, and there is always a truck idling outside. It’s a lot of hard work and long hours, especially during the peak seasons. We don't have a flashy website or a marketing department. If you want to talk to us, you usually have to come down to the site. It’s just a regular local business run by regular people who care about their work.
