Over on Nedumangadu Thadagam Road in Velandipalayam, that’s where Agro Pharma Exports Pvt. Ltd. is based. It’s a location that suits us well. The road can get quite busy with traffic heading through, but once you step inside our gate, it’s a different world. We have a fairly simple setup here. It’s mostly about managing the exports and making sure the containers are ready to go when they need to be. There is a lot of back-and-forth with drivers and suppliers, so the phone is usually ringing. We don't have a fancy reception area with a sofa. Most people just walk in and find whoever they need to talk to. The building is solid and does its job, much like the people who work inside it. We’ve been in Velandipalayam for some time now and we’ve seen the area change a bit, but our routine stays pretty much the same. We deal with agricultural and pharmaceutical exports, which keeps us on our toes with all the rules and checks. It’s not the kind of work you can do halfway. You have to pay attention to the details. We have a small yard where we sometimes sit during breaks if the weather isn't too hot. It’s just a normal workplace with normal people trying to do a good job. We aren't interested in being flashy, just consistent. Every day brings something a little different, but we handle it as it comes along.
