Metro Paintz

Metro Paintz is located right in the Housing Board Building over by S.S. Kovil Road. It’s a pretty easy spot to find if you are near the Gpo Junction in Melethampanoor. We spend most of our time surrounded by cans of paint and color fans. There is always a smell of fresh paint or chemicals in the air, which we have just gotten used to over the years. Our shop isn't very big, so we have to stack the tins high to make everything fit. It can get a little crowded when we have a few people in here at once. We don't really do the whole corporate thing with polished counters and uniform shirts. It’s usually just us in our regular clothes, likely with a bit of paint on our hands. The junction outside is always busy, so there is a constant hum of engines. We open up the doors in the morning and stay until the sun starts to go down. Most of our work is just helping locals figure out what they need for their homes or shops. We aren't experts in everything, but we know our stock well enough. Sometimes the mixing machine acts up and we have to fix it on the fly. It’s just a normal local shop trying to provide something useful to the neighborhood. We don't make big promises, we just try to be helpful and honest about what we have on the shelves for people.
