Being so close to the ocean means the air always has that salty smell to it, which we have gotten used to. Sometimes you can hear the waves if the wind is blowing the right way. Our office is just a plain room where we do our daily business. We do not have any big signs or flashing lights. People find us because they are usually in the area for the beach or they live nearby in the local community. It is a bit different from being in the middle of the city where everything is loud and crowded all the time. Here, things feel a little slower. We spend a lot of time on the phone or talking to drivers who come in to check their routes for the next day. The floor has some sand on it most of the time because it is hard to keep it out when you are this close to the coast. We have a couple of plastic chairs for visitors and a desk that has seen better days. It is a simple setup but it serves us well enough for what we do. We see the sunset almost every evening from the street outside. It is a nice part of the day when work starts to slow down.
