Melathil Nidhi Limited

We have been set up at Ward XIV in the Kailas building for a while now. It is right in Murukkumpuzha. Most days are pretty quiet, just people from around Thiruvananthapuram stopping by to talk about their savings or some paperwork. I usually get here early to open the shutters and maybe grab a tea across the street before things get busy. The office itself is nothing fancy. We have the usual desks and chairs, and the paperwork piles up just like anywhere else. Sometimes the fans make a bit of noise, but we get used to it. Being in rooms 401 and 402 means we have a bit of space, though it fills up when a few families come in at once. It is a local spot, really. People know where to find us. We do not spend much time on big decorations or anything. It is mostly about keeping the books straight and making sure everyone gets their questions answered. Thiruvananthapuram can get pretty humid, so we keep the windows open when there is a breeze. It is just us working through the daily tasks. We see the same faces every month when they come to check their accounts. It is a steady routine. Nothing too complicated happens here. We just stay at our spots, handle the ledgers, and chat with the neighbors who drop in. It feels like a normal part of the town. Just a regular workplace where we do what needs doing every day.
