Mangocabs is based over in Nanthencode, not far from Raj Bhavan Road. It’s a decent area of Thiruvananthapuram and we’ve been here for a bit now. We aren't a huge fleet or a fancy app-based company with a thousand employees. It’s just a local operation. We have our cars and we have our drivers. Most of our work involves answering the phone and telling people how long it’ll take for a cab to get to them. Thiruvananthapuram traffic can be a real pain, so we try to be honest about the wait times. We don't like promising something we can't do. The office is just a place for us to coordinate everything. There’s usually a pot of tea going and some maps spread out. We know the 695003 area like the back of our hands. People call us because they want someone local who knows the shortcuts. We don't have a polished corporate image. We’re just regular people trying to run a reliable cab service. Sometimes a car breaks down or a driver gets stuck, and we just deal with it as it happens. That's life in the city. We don't use any of those "best in class" phrases you see in ads. We just send out cabs when people need them. It's simple, honest work. If you're near Nanthankode, you’ll see our cars moving around. We’ve been part of this neighborhood for a while and we like it that way.
