Maliakan Associates

Our office is over at number 11, right near the Kerala Press Office. It’s a pretty easy landmark for people to find when they are looking for us. We’ve been working from this spot for a while now. The building is older, but it serves us well enough for what we do. We spend a lot of time at our desks, dealing with paperwork and taking phone calls. It’s not a flashy job, but it’s what we know. Most of the time, the office is a bit of a mess with folders and notes scattered around. We try to stay organized, but when things get busy, that usually goes out the window. The proximity to the press office means there is always something going on nearby. We see the same faces every morning when we come in. It’s a comfortable routine. We don't have a big team, just a few of us making sure everything stays on track. If someone walks in with a question, we just talk to them like normal people. There’s no formal reception or anything like that. You just come in and we see if we can help with whatever you need. Some days the coffee machine is the most important piece of equipment in the room. We don't worry about being the biggest name around here. We just focus on the tasks sitting in front of us and try to get home at a reasonable hour.
