You can find the Malaibar Foundationfor Research Anddevelopments over at Markaz Knowledge City. We are located specifically at Kp 21/313 C, right near the Markaz Law College in Kannoth. It is an interesting spot to be in because there is always something happening around the college area. We focus on research and development, which sounds a bit technical, but for us, it is just about digging into projects and seeing what works. The office is usually filled with papers and different books we have picked up along the way. We started this because we wanted to have a dedicated space to look into things more deeply. It is not a huge operation. Most of the time, it is just a few of us sitting around discussing ideas and writing things down. We do not really go in for big speeches or fancy presentations. We prefer to just get on with the work at hand. The Kannoth area is a good place for this kind of thing. It has a steady pace that lets us concentrate. Sometimes we lose track of time when we are in the middle of a study. We handle everything ourselves, from the cleaning to the actual research. It is a hands-on kind of environment. We try to keep our feet on the ground and just focus on the facts and the developments we are tracking. Sometimes the printer jams and we have to spend half an hour fixing it ourselves.
