Lendaza Charitable Foundation

The Lendaza Charitable Foundation is situated in Vadayakkad, which is part of the Vanchiyoor area in Trivandrum. Our specific address is Tc-13/697-4 on Kizhakkupuram Lane. It is a narrow little lane, but we like it that way because it stays relatively quiet. We have been operating from this spot for a while now. The building isn’t anything special to look at, just a regular place where we keep our files and meet up to discuss our next steps. Working in Thiruvananthapuram means there’s always a lot of movement around us, but once you step into our office on the lane, things slow down a bit. We don’t have a big team of experts or a polished board of directors. It’s just a few dedicated people trying to manage the foundation’s work. We handle the day-to-day stuff ourselves, like answering letters and keeping track of our small budget. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit and talk until it comes back on. It is a very practical environment. We do not use any corporate jargon or try to sound more important than we are. We are just a local foundation doing what we can from our base at 695035. Most of our neighbors know us by now. It is a good feeling to be rooted in a place like Vanchiyoor where people still stop to say hello. We keep a box of old newspapers in the corner for recycling and our desks are covered in pens.
