Lavanya Travel Service

Our place is on the ground floor over on S S Kovil Road in Thampanoor. It’s a very central spot in Thiruvananthapuram, so we get a lot of people just walking in to ask questions. Lavanya Travel Service is basically just a few of us working in a small space. It’s often a bit cluttered with flyers and old logs, but we know where everything is. The road outside can get pretty loud with all the buses and rickshaws, but you get used to it after a while. We do all the regular travel stuff, like booking tickets and arranging cars for people who need to get out of town. It’s not fancy work, and we don't have a big marketing department. We just talk to people. Sometimes someone comes in with a complicated request and it takes us a while to figure it out, but we usually get there. We’ve been at this address for a good while, and we like being on the ground floor because it’s easy for people to find us. We don't have a lot of rules, we just try to get the bookings done right. We’ve got a small fan that rattles a bit in the corner, but it keeps the air moving. When it’s busy season, there’s hardly any room to move around in here. We just stack the files higher and keep going. We don't have corporate uniforms. We just wear what’s comfortable and focus on getting the tickets printed out for everyone in the 695001 area.
