Kumarakom Holidays

Kumarakom Holidays is tucked away at 4/55 in Ambalanagar, over in the Kowdiar area. It’s a nice part of Thiruvananthapuram to work in. We’ve been based here for a good while. Our focus is mostly on helping people plan their time away, whether it's a short break or a longer holiday. We aren't a massive corporation with a glass office. It's just a regular building where we keep our files and answer the phones. Most of us who work here have lived in Thiruvananthapuram our whole lives. We know the 695003 area very well. When people come in, we just sit down and talk about where they want to go. There’s no pressure or fancy sales talk. We just look at the options and see what fits. Sometimes the office gets a bit cluttered with brochures and travel magazines, but it feels lived in. We aren't trying to be perfect. If there's a mistake on a form, we fix it. If a hotel is fully booked, we find another one. It's just everyday problem-solving. Kowdiar is a pleasant place to be, and being in Ambalanagar means we get to know our neighbors. We don't use slogans or mission statements. We just try to get people's holidays sorted so they can enjoy their time off. It’s a simple business model.
