Our office is over in the Housing Board Building at Shanthi Nagar. It’s a pretty well-known spot if you live around here. We’ve got the P.B.No:50 address which we have had for ages. Mostly we focus on helping out the smaller shops and businesses in the state. It is a lot of administrative work, honestly. People come in with questions about setting up their own places. We try to give them the right info. It is a bit of a government-style office, so there are a lot of filing cabinets and stacks of paper. The building itself is older, but it serves its purpose. We have a fair amount of people coming through every day. It can get a bit slow in the afternoons when it is hot outside. We just keep plugging away at the applications and requests. It is not a glamorous job, but it feels good to see a local business get off the ground. We are just regular people trying to keep the system moving for everyone else. It has been our home base for a long time. We know the neighborhood well and where to get a good lunch nearby. Sometimes the paperwork piles up, but we get through it eventually. It is just the way things go here in Shanthi Nagar. We don't have a lot of fancy technology, just the basics to get by.
