Itc Freight Services is located in Trivandrum, specifically in the Vellayambalam area. Our office is at A-55, inside Elankam Gardens. It’s actually a pretty nice spot compared to some of the industrial zones we’ve worked in. There’s a bit of green around, which is a relief. The office itself is just a regular room with a few desks and a lot of computers. We spend our days tracking freight and talking to shipping lines. It’s a lot of back-and-forth communication. We aren't a big, cold corporation. We’re just a small group of people trying to keep the freight moving smoothly. Some of us have been here since the office first opened. We have our own way of doing things, and it might seem a bit old-fashioned to some, but it works for us. We use a lot of notebooks alongside the computers because sometimes you just need to scribble something down quickly. The atmosphere is generally quiet, except when there’s a rush to get a shipment cleared. We don't use big words or try to impress anyone. We just tell you what the situation is with your cargo. Lunchtimes are usually spent sharing food we brought from home. It’s a simple life at Elankam Gardens. We do our work, make our calls, and make sure the files are put away at the end of the day.
