Inchbymeters Trading Llp is located at Sukumara Bhavan in Kaimanam, which is in Thiruvananthapuram. The address is TC 55/137 and we are tucked away in Kuttikadu Lane. Sukumaran Nair started this whole thing. It is a small office, nothing like the big buildings you see in the city center. We handle various trading activities, mostly moving goods back and forth. Kaimanam is a nice, quiet residential area, so our office feels very relaxed. We don't have any big corporate signs out front. Inside, there are just a few rooms filled with stacks of papers and ledgers. We spend our days checking prices and making sure our suppliers are on schedule. It is a lot of coordination. We like the name because it reminds us to be careful with every little detail. One wrong measurement or number can cause a lot of headaches later on. We usually have tea together in the morning and talk about what needs to be done. The neighbors are mostly families, so it is a very calm environment. We don't have any fancy software to manage things, just some simple spreadsheets and our notebooks. It is a very hands-on way of working. We are just a small group of people trying to do our job well and stay independent. It is not always easy, but we prefer it this way. It feels more personal.
